The chiropractors at Chiro Now primarily utilize manual “hands on” technique. Below are the three most commonly used techniques in our offices.
At Chiro Now, we use a manual “hands on” adjusting technique commonly referred as “Diversified”. Diversified technique (DT) is the most commonly used adjustment technique by chiropractors. Like many chiropractic and osteopathic manipulative techniques, Diversified is characterized by a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust. This is the most commonly use technique among all Chiro Now offices.
The diversified technique may be accompanied by a drop table, in which the chiropractor applies a quick thrust at the same time the section drops. The dropping of the table allows for a lighter adjustment without the twisting positions that can accompany other techniques. Instrument adjustments - often the gentlest methods of adjusting the spine.
The diversified technique may also be accompanied by an activator, in which a spring-loaded, hand-held mechanical instrument called the activator adjusting Instrument provides a quick, low-force impulse at specific points.
